Vowel sound /ə/ is pronounced like ‘UH’ or that final sound in the word “teacher”.

It has a short but weak pronunciation, unlike the strong version — VOWEL /ʌ/ SOUND.

Some examples of words with vowel /ə/ sound

📒 Letters (a-) at the beginning and (-er, -or, -ar) at the end of most words often give this vowel /ə/ sound — also called the “Schwa sound” which is never stressed.
